Interim government will be able to meet the challenges ahead: Mirza Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, we believe, if everyone cooperates with them (interim government), then they will be able to meet the challenges facing the nation.
He said this after paying homage at the mausoleum of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Thursday (November 7). The tribute was paid on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7.
Commenting that the current interim government has played an effective role in the last three months after the fall of the Awami League government in the mass uprising, he said, they have done many things.
Commenting that BNP continues its struggle, Mirza Fakhrul said, I have sworn today - I will take the people along and stop hegemony and maintain independence, and will continue the struggle and movement.
The BNP Secretary General said, the Awami League wanted to establish fascism by oppressing and oppressing them after coming to power. They wanted to establish a one-party regime, but by the grace of Almighty, we were able to defeat this fascist government and their hegemony for the third time on August 5.
