Nationwide public relations campaign on 'July Proclamation' begins on January 6

Dhaka: The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens' Committee will distribute leaflets, hold rallies and hold public relations across the country from January 6 to January 11 to find out people's expectations regarding the publication of the July Proclamation or July Declaration.

Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, announced the program at a press conference held at the central office of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement at Bangla Motor in the capital on Saturday (January 4).

Hasnat said, "We have demanded that the interim government announce the July Proclamation by January 15. Just as every person in the country participated in this uprising, we think that this declaration will reflect the aspirations of the people."

He said, "We want to reach out to the people. We will conduct public relations in all educational institutions and among all professionals in the country. The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens' Committee will jointly do this work."

National Citizens Committee convener Nasiruddin Patwari said, "The government's activities regarding the July Revolution declaration are not yet visible. If no action is taken quickly in this regard, strict programs will be announced. We will appeal to the government to start working on this important issue soon. We want; we are ready to provide all kinds of cooperation to the government."
