In response to a question from reporters, he said, "We will bring a letter from the government today to ensure good treatment for the injured. My injured brothers are suffering in the hospital."

Earlier, a group of those injured in the July-August uprising took a stand in front of the capital's Pangu Hospital on Wednesday (November 13) demanding better treatment and rehabilitation. Their protest continued even in the middle of the night. Later, around 2:30 am, four interim advisers arrived there and assured them of accepting their demands and a meeting with the injured delegation at noon today, but the protesters agreed to return to the hospital.

At night, Law Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul, Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhtar, Local Government Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan and Adviser Mahfuz Alam appeared in front of the Pangu Hospital. At that time, Special Assistant to the Health Adviser Md. Sayedur Rahman was also with them.

Expressing regret to the crowd present, Adviser Mahfuz Alam said, "Tomorrow (today) at 2 pm, we will sit with your representatives at the Secretariat. Other ministries concerned like the Ministry of Health, Social Welfare, (along with) the July Smriti Foundation and our government offices that are responsible for the financial and rehabilitation of the martyrs and injured, we will sit with you together."

Mahfuz Alam promised to prepare an outline for the treatment and rehabilitation of the injured and implement it by December.
