110 Palestinians to be released today

As part of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, 110 more Palestinian prisoners will be released from Israeli prisons today. 30 of them are children. A human rights organization that works with Palestinian prisoners reported this information.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement that 110 Palestinian prisoners will be released on Thursday (January 30). This is the third prisoner exchange under the ceasefire agreement that began on January 19.

The organization said that the prisoners are expected to arrive in the Radana area of Ramallah by noon.

Releasing a list of the prisoners, the organization said that 30 of them are under the age of 18, 32 are sentenced to life imprisonment and another 48 are in prison for various terms. 20 of the freed prisoners will be sent to exile.

In the previous two prisoner swaps, 290 prisoners were released in exchange for the release of seven Israeli hostages. Almost all of them were Palestinians. However, one was Jordanian.

Meanwhile, Hamas will release five Thai citizens in exchange for three Israeli hostages on Thursday. The three Israeli hostages are Arbel Yehud, Agam Berger and Gadi Mozes. However, the identities of the five Thai citizens are not yet known.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said that Hamas will release three Israeli men in the fourth prisoner swap on Saturday.
