Gold prices hit another record, 1 lakh 42 thousand per bhori!

Dhaka: Gold prices have increased again in the country's market. The price of the best quality or 22-carat gold (11.664 grams) has increased by Tk. 1 thousand 890 taka per bhori. As a result, the price of good quality gold stands at Tk. 1 lakh 41 thousand 951 taka per bhori. This new rate will be effective from Wednesday (October 23).

On Tuesday (October 22), the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee decided to increase the price in a meeting. This information was later given in a notification signed by the chairman of the committee, Masudur Rahman.

The Bangladesh Jewelers' Association (BAJUS) said that this price has been increased in view of the increase in the price of acid gold (pure gold) in the local market.

Earlier, the price of gold was increased on October 20. At that time, the price of good quality gold was increased by Tk. 2 thousand 612 per bhori. This brought the price of good quality gold to Tk. 1 lakh 40 thousand 41. This was the highest price of gold in the country's market so far.

According to the new price, the price of a 22-carat gold bar of the best quality has been increased by Tk. 1,890 to Tk. 1,41,951. The price of a 21-carat gold bar of the 21-carat gold bar has been increased by Tk. 1,797 to Tk. 1,35,501.

In addition, the price of a 18-carat gold bar of the 18-carat gold bar has been increased by Tk. 1,539 to Tk. 1,16,138. In addition, the price of a 21-carat gold bar has been increased by Tk. 1,306 to Tk. 95,423.

Earlier, on October 20, the price of a 22-carat gold bar of the best quality was increased by 2,612 taka to 1,40,061 taka. The price of a 21-carat gold bar of the 21-carat gold bar has been increased by 2,507 taka to 1,33,704 taka.

In addition, the price of a 18-carat gold bar has been increased by 2,146 taka to 1,14,599 taka. In addition, the price of one bhori of traditional gold has been increased by 1,831 taka to 94,117 taka. Gold has been sold at this price till Tuesday.

Although the price of gold has increased, the price of silver has remained unchanged. The price of one bhori of 22-carat silver has been fixed at 2,100 taka, the price of one bhori of 21-carat silver has been fixed at 2,106 taka. In addition, the price of one bhori of 18-carat silver has been fixed at 1,715 taka and the price of one bhori of traditional silver has been fixed at 1,283 taka.
