Cumilla District’s Burichong Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Delwar Hossain has been served a show cause notice. This information was informed in a circular signed by Minhajul Islam Bhuiyan, Assistant Office Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of Jubo Dal on Saturday (October 19).
It is said in the notice, "It has come to the attention of the Central Executive Committee of the Jubo Dal that you have conducted the activities outside the rules of the organization from the important responsibility of the member secretary of the Upazila Jubo Dal." In such a situation, you have been ordered to appear in writing before Jubo Dal Central Committee President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan why organizational action will not be taken against you.'' It is stated that this notice has been sent as per instructions.
In this regard, Delwar Hossain said, "I have received the notice, and will respond in due course."
It has been alleged that Burichong Upazila Juba Dal member secretary Delwar Hossain grabbed the tender of 10 buildings at nominal price alone showing party influence. Reports on this were published in various media on Saturday.
