Almost two and a half months after the fall of the Awami League government, a section of the Chhatra League-Jubo League held an open march in Chattogram.

On Friday (October 18) around 12:40 PM, 20-30 young people marched for a few minutes in Jamal Khan area and got stuck. Witnesses alleged that many who took part in the procession were carrying weapons.

A 38-second video of the procession has gone viral on social media. Three videos of the procession were also shared on the verified page of Awami League.

In the video, it can be seen that some motorcycles are moving slowly ahead. A procession of 20-30 people behind them. Most of them were wearing masks. There they were seen chanting slogans in the name of the Prime Minister of the fallen government, Sheikh Hasina, 'Sheikh Hasina is not afraid, Rajpath has not left'. They quickly finished the procession and left.

It was not immediately known who led or participated in the march. However, the former councilor of Jamalkhan Ward, Shaibal Das Sumon, had a stronghold in that area.

It is believed that all those who joined the procession are his workers.

On August 4, the day before the fall of the government, students were seen firing on the direct orders of Suman in Askardighi Par area. This Awami League leader went into hiding after the fall of the government. There are also reports that he has fled abroad.

Meanwhile, it is said that the leaders and activists of the Shibir went to the spot when the news of the Chhatra League procession spread.

An angry reaction has also been created among the students in the incident of the BCL march. Many of them were writing about it on Facebook saying that the law enforcement forces have not yet arrested the armed terrorists who shot and killed the students in a peaceful procession. They want to destabilize the situation of the country by exercising weapons in this opportunity.

The anti-discrimination student movement has called for a program in this incident. The Chattogram coordinator of this platform, Mohammad Russell Ahmed announced at 2:00 p.m., "There will be a protest rally in Jamal Khan on Saturday (October 19) at 3:00 p.m. in protest of raising slogans on the martyr's blood-stained streets to rehabilitate the murderer Hasina." I call upon all the students to unite and come down to the streets again, regardless of party affiliation.
