Former MP from Dhaka-2 constituency and former Food Minister Md. Kamrul Islam has been arrested by the police.
He was arrested from Uttara-12 Sector in the capital at around 10:30 pm on Monday (November 18).
DMP Additional Police Commissioner, DB Rezaul Karim Mallick confirmed the matter. He said that former Food Minister Kamrul Islam was arrested from Uttara-12 Sector in the capital tonight. He is being brought to the DB office.
